Whenever you are feeling as though work is coming down on you, take a break. Yes, I said a break. You might say that you have 1,000 things to do and work for yourself. The question you should ask yourself: “Are you really being productive?”
If you can answer yes, then continue on.
More than likely, you will say no. Therefore, you should remove yourself away from the computer, silence your phones, and any other electronics. Afterwards, you should do something for a few minutes that clears your mind. This can be exercising for some people, mediating for others, and/or sleep, and the list keeps going.
Breaks are essential for you to do your best at anything you do. If you are constantly spending tons of time on one task, you are going to stress yourself out to the point that you will give up.
