There are less than 30 days left in 2011. This is the time when I start reviewing my yearly goals, and planning for the next year. 2011 was a good year for me. I got a great job position that gave me the flexibility to do what I love and also be with my children. Additionally, I made the decision to get two certifications in the next three years: the Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) and the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) accreditation. I’m a huge believer in setting goals for yourself. It’s the only way that I have been able to succeed in the goals I have set.
In the last two years, I have put my freelance writing career on hold while I focused on my own self development and the loss of my younger sister. The time has come to get back into doing what I love. Therefore, I am available to assist organizations with their writing needs. For a couple of years, I will be doing it on a part-time basis until I am able to replicate my current yearly income.
