Blogging is a great way to discuss what you are passionate about. This isn’t even just for business. There are tons of things that people blog about. It is a great outlet for your creativity.

Sharing with Other Interested People

I could also say “interesting people.” Blogs can help you quickly find other people who share the same love or are looking for information on what you are blogging about. Yes, you have social networking sites that can do the same, but this can let you express yourself in more than a few words.

Finding Your Community

You start blogging, and you find other people who share the same interest.  Blogging and social media allows you to quickly grow into a community where you interact, share, and learn from one another.

I’m Not a Writer or a Web Designer

You don’t have to be a Writer to start blogging. Yes, writing is a part of it, but it’s not the entire reason why you would create a blog.  One of the great things about blogging is that it helps you to become a great Writer. Why? Practice makes perfect.  If you aren’t a writer, then you can use one of the services that makes it easy to blog. My two favorite ones are Tumblr and Posterous.  Others have sworn by Blogger and WordPress.com. The great thing is that you can quickly share and interact with others using the same service.

If you are a little bit more web savvy, then I recommend starting a self-hosted WordPress. There are tons of themes and plugins that will make your blog sensational.
