My Writing Space

Photobucket

Yesterday, NaNoWriMo began, and I began writing my story. I didn’t want it to be in the same location that I use for working, so I decided to create a new one. I have barely used the reading nook area, so I decided why not. It would be perfect. I could close the sliding door to have some privacy, and still be able to see what the kids were doing.

It was perfect. Being surrounded by books and sitting in a warm, red chair, made writing a cinch. I created a playlist that reflected the mood of the story and got to work. I wrote 1671 words in an hour. I thought that it would take me two. It just shows what can happen when you are in your element.

It doesn’t matter where you write or what you write on, just do it.
